| In 2009, Milton Council approved the accelerated construction of the Milton Centre for the Arts (MCA), thanks to a $16.2 million investment from the Building Canada Fund - Communities Component. This $39.3 million project was funded through provincial and federal grants, dedicated to community infrastructure projects. MCA is located at the southeast corner of Main Street and Thompson Road, on the former Milton Hydro site. This location serves as a gateway to downtown Milton and is supported by public transit and pedestrian connections. •Vision: The Milton Centre for the Arts is the premier venue to experience the arts.
